I am a chiropractor. There is nothing scientifically based about this video. Chiropractic will help musculoskeletal pain. Claims such as this is why we have such a bad reputation.

It's sad that so many unsuspecting people fall for this type of Snake Oil. Folks, Chiropractic is nothing more than an expensive massage. This is why there's no scientific method behind it. This is why there are so many different versions of it (which version of Chiropractic are you getting?). It's an alternative medicine with ZERO scientific research behind it. However, if you like expensive massages, by all means, enjoy!

Jeff.. nice video, but do please remember your neurology. Most of the organs you mention receive innervation from T9-T12 and S2-S4. You're doing spinal decompression in the Lumbar spine. I take it that it's been a while since you brushed up on your physiology, eh? -Ben

Chiros claim that a misaligned spine can cause all sorts of health conditions from fatigue to the common cold. Furthermore, Chiros claim they can re-align your spine by "manipulation". However science has shown that manipulation doesn't actually change the shape of your spine. The placebo effect is very strong however, which is why most people feel better after a "manipulation". This is also why Chiro's fight against every opportunity for a double-blind study of "manipulation".

Do you even know what a double-blind study is? It is all but impossible to do a "double blind" study of chiropractic. How can a doctor deliver a "placebo" adjustment, without knowing he's doing it? You can do a single blind, but not a double. Sheesh, you got a lot to learn about research.
